Edmonton Ultimate Players Association is continuing to monitor the recommendations from our city and provincial governments. All of our programming continues to be suspended. In addition, we encourage our community to be advised that Alberta Health Services continues to recommend keeping two metres between any people not of the same household while outdoors.

More specifically, the City of Edmonton still does not permit scrimmages or pickup sports with members outside of your household, nor sharing of communal equipment (such as discs).

According to updated guidelines from Alberta's chief medical officer of health, mass gathering restrictions will continue to be in place for all events this summer in Alberta. Gatherings will continue to be limited to 15 people, require 2m physical distancing, and require hygiene practices including avoiding shared objects (see the announcement transcript here).

As such, we are sad to announce that all of our 2020 summer leagues and tournaments will be cancelled.

Our community is the backbone of what's great at EUPA. When new players come to our sport, we want to show them the best of EUPA and welcome them into our community. To help empower and encourage our community members to share their knowledge, spirit, and passion with those coming into the sport, we're launching our new Community Ambassador Program to provide some structure and awesome perks for those helping out!
