Holiday Hat Huckfest 

This is a fun ultimate tournament for charity, full of festive cheer. Proceeds and donations will go to the winning team’s charity of choice. Donations of cash can be made at the field or donations can be sent via e-transfer to Admin@eupa.ca with memo note: Holiday Hat Donation

Who: This tournament is for all levels of Ultimate Players who want to have fun! A recommended minimum age of 16 years old. 

Where: Foote Field Dome (11601 68 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T6G 2E1), Sections C and D (furthest from door) 

When: December 8th, 2024 from 3:30 - 7:30pm.

Format: 

  • 5v5 on a 65x20 field with 12 yard endzones
  • 25 min games 8 teams max (10-12 people per team).
  • Speed point play, change on the fly.
  • 8 team round robin. Format may change pending sign-ups.
  • All players please bring a red and a green shirt. Bonus points for wearing a festive hat!

Cost:

  • $35 + GST  by registering on or before Friday, November 6th, 2024. 
  • $40 + GST after November 6th, 2024. 

Registration Details: 

  • Individual
    • You will be placed on a team
  • Pods:  
    • During registration indicate your pod-mates
    • Pods of up to 4 players allowed (player + 3 pod mates)
    • A maximum of 2 players of each gender are allowed in a pod 

Registration closes: Registration is now Closed.  

 

 

This is a competitive and spirited 4v4 tournament. Results assist in seeding for A4UC. Pending Ultimate Canada’s C4UC bid allocation announcement, Frostbite will award C4UC bids if Alberta receives more than 1 bid. One bid will remain with A4UC, any additional bids will be awarded to top placing Frostbite teams.

Who: This tournament is targeted towards competitive (Rec +) Ultimate Players

When: January 11, 2025 from 1:00- 7:00pm. 

Format: 

  • 4v4 on a 20x35 field with 3 yard end zone
  • 40 minute games 
  • Speed point play, change on the fly.
  • Round robin and a playoff bracket. 
  • Please note that length of game subject to change pending count of teams registered.

Cost:

  • $50 + GST per player.

    • The Captain/Team Organizer will need to complete the “Team Registration” process prior to players signing up by clicking the “Team Registration” button below.
      • Please use this link for guidance on how to register your team. 
    • Once teams are registered, each participant will complete the “Register to a Team” process by going to the team link provided by their captain/team organizer.

Deadline Details:

  • Team Minimum deadline: December 28, 2024 
    • Minimum registered roster of 2 Masc+ and 2 Femme+ players required by deadline to guarantee team participation. 
  • Late teams may be accepted subject to availability. After Dec. 28th, register your team name and email tournaments@eupa.ca to confirm your spot.

  • Player Registration Closes: Wednesday, January 8, 2025
    • Last day to register players to your team.

Who: This tournament is targeted towards competitive (Rec +) Ultimate Players

Where: Commonwealth Community Rec Centre (11000 Stadium Rd NW) - Field House

When: February 22, 2025 from 10:00- 4:00pm. 

Format: 

  • 4v4 on a 20x35 field with 3 yard end zone
  • 40 minute games 
  • Speed point play, change on the fly.
  • Round robin and a playoff bracket. 
  • Please note that length of game subject to change pending count of teams registered.

Cost:

  • $50 + GST per player.

Please note that to be eligible for a C4UC bid from Alberta teams must: be based in Alberta, per C4UC tournament manual eligibility. And you must use the same roster for Frostbite, A4UC and C4UC, subject to the C4UC substitution policy.

Cups Tournament (Pre-Fall Brawl Edition) September Long Weekend What's cups? Cups is played on teams of two and the "cups" are set on wooden dowels that are set wide enough that a disc can pass between them. Players try to knock cups off the dowels, or get their disc between the two dowels without touching the dowels while holding a drink in their hand. Join us and we'll teach you the rest.
Pre-Fall Brawl September Long Weekend 7-on-7 mixed gender, team tournament full of good ol' Edmonton spirit! Wrangle your team together and register. All levels of ability and experience are welcome!
Holiday Fundraiser Tournament December This tournament is about having fun and giving back. 100% of the profit will go towards a chosen charity.
