TEAMS
There will be 12 teams in this league. The league will begin with a full round robin (every team will play every other team). Following the round robin, the league will move into tiered play, and each team will be tiered based on the rankings from the round robin games. Movement between tiers will happen where the team with the most wins/points in each tier will move up a tier, and the team with the least wins/points will move down a tier. Playoff games will take place over the final 2 weeks of the summer.

Games 1-11 - Full Round Robin
Games 12-16 - Tiered Play (2 re-tierings)
Playoffs 17-18 - Playoffs

We encourage you to bring 2 shirts of different colours to avoid both teams having the same colored jerseys.

The Thursday 7v7 Summer League has a default ratio of 4/3. This means that there may not be more than 4 players of any gender on the field at any time unless an alternate rule is agreed on by the captains.

SPIRIT OF THE GAME (SotG)

Spirit of the Game is at the heart of Ultimate and is a defining characteristic of the sport. With no referees, Ultimate relies on Spirit of the Game, placing the onus of spirited and honorable play on the players themselves. See the EUPA Spirit Policy for further details. Any questions or concerns related to a team's spirit can be directed to spirit@eupa.ca.
